New MacBook Pro Announced at WWDC 2012

Today, was Apple’s annual WWDC (World Wide Developers Conference) and a brand new MacBook Pro model has been released. It is a 15″ MacBook Pro, but there’s more to it than it’s screen size.

There are two models, here are each of their specs:

But this is no ordinary display, there is a retina display on the new 15″

Configuration 1:

15-inch: 2.3 GHz Retina display
2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7
Turbo Boost up to 3.3GHz
8GB 1600MHz memory
256GB flash storage
Intel HD Graphics 4000
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5 memory
Built-in battery (7 hours)

Configuration 2:

15-inch: 2.6 GHz Retina display
2.6GHz quad-core Intel Core i7
Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz
8GB 1600MHz memory
512GB flash storage
Intel HD Graphics 4000
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5 memory
Built-in battery (7 hours)

Unfortunately those good-looking specs come at a hefty price.

Config. 1 comes in at $2199

Config. 2 comes in at $2,799

So, unless you aren’t a die-hard apple fan or have a lot of money to spend, you’re better off not getting one.
