Microsoft Releases Internet Explorer Patch to Resolve Crippling Heartbleed bug

After days of scrambling for a fix to the bug Internet Explorer was particularly vulnerable to, the patch is out and users can now browse assured that they are safe. Despite Microsoft officially ending its support for the aging Windows XP operating system, the patch includes a fix for all Windows operating systems ranging from Windows XP to Windows 8, likely because many corporations still use XP despite its lacking security when compared to Windows 8.1.
